The act was created in 1993. The first variant was called “The Fantasy of the East”. It is quite a spectacular act with the general European notion of the “east”: a little bit of India, a little bit of Egypt and Arabian dance. The props were a cobra to be tamed by a fakir and a dancer-girl. That had been its form for almost 8 years. Yet, as one of the greats of the past said, “the art cannot be stopped”. So in 2001 the act was rebuilt drastically.
Its new variant was called “The Birth of Metal”. Everything was different, even the stunts. Rock-music, black costumes, the aggressive style… But I think that “metal” is a clear music, transparent and animated. Only people with lucid souls can write such music. A white spot was a symbol of light for us. The entire tightrope act was with that spot.
The final variant of the act which I am pleased to introduce was made in 2003. It is tentatively called “To Light”. The act does not have an exact naming because you cannot explain the versatile image in a few words, and several pages would be a dread. All I can say, it is a tormented spirit restored by the magicians from the oblivion and passionately striving for perfection and light. After reaching them, picking them, trying them, it falls down on earth again… Yet the hope will not die. Having fallen even to the very bottom one can always rise again... For all intents and purposes, the main component of this act is music... Unbelievably beautiful, astounding, sensual and tragic... Music is 50% of success, as the stage classics say, and I cannot agree more. The music for this circus act was given by the sole and unique Golden Voice of Russian Rock-music, Valery Kipelov, whose talent I worship and revere :) This music is what makes me especially proud. Another thousand of thanks and million of bows, Valery Alexandrovich! The mastering was specifically done for this number by the kind Sergey Mavrin, for which eternal gratitude goes to him too! In addition to the great song “Free”, the act incorporates a piece of a comparably astonishing song “Enchantment” from “Mavrick’s” “Chemical Dream”. I would again like to express my cordial thanks to both of them and the band “Kipelov” in general for just being and being so wonderful!
I would also like to introduce another actor who has recently entered my work, my favorite birdie, Severus Snape the Raven.
Now it is little change in my performance. Me and Elena Baranenko begin to work together on Arial Silk. Also you will see with us Andrey Lefler and will hear his greatest voice:)
